Vehicle Shipping Firm Makes Move to Green
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Peachtree City, Georgia, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) March 28, 2011 — March 28, 2011 HOUSTON – Vehiport, a newly launched vehicle transportation firm located in Peachtree City, GA, has incorporated green practices from its inception. The company recently furthered its green goals by joining the Green Business Bureau (GBB) on its way to becoming green business certified.
The executive team at Vehiport clearly understand the return on a green investment as well. According to the firms’ website, their green initiatives aren’t solely about environmental efficiency, but also cutting time and costs. Indeed, the company operates a paperless environment using cloud computing, eliminating paper costs and the need for a “power hungry” server. Carbon emissions are lowered by transporting multiple vehicles on a single truck.
With a clear environmental commitment established, Vehiport can now leverage their green practices to establish their brand and grow their business. To that end, the company looked to the GBB.
“We decided to go green because we know it’s important,” says Vehiport’s Aaron Hebel. “We joined the GBB to help get the word out.”
GBB’s members enjoy additional marketing benefits that other organizations don’t offer. Members have access to an extensive social media network of over 11,000, as well as individualized marketing assistance from the organization itself.
Hebel says Vehiport chose the GBB because of its professionalism and the reasonable cost to join.
“The GBB looked like a company that was there to help and not just in business for profit,” says Hebel.
As members of the GBB, Hebel says Vehiport is looking forward to growth, increased revenue, and increased environmental awareness in the community.
